The Health Information Services Technician will be responsible for managing and ensuring the integrity of patient chart information. The Technician enters and retrieves all patient chart data, corrects missing or incorrect data and oversees the dissemination of patient chart information to physicians, patients, and other requesters. This role also performs clerical and customer service responsibilities including using office technology, answering and routing phone calls and processing paperwork.

Demonstrated knowledge of windows environment and computer networks. Ability to work with multiple computer software applications simultaneously. Two years medical record or healthcare experience. Two years previous data entry experience with Windows, HBOC or other computer applications. Good communication skills. Detail oriented. High school diploma or equivalent. The days vary.
