The Education Instructor I is responsible for assisting in planning, coordinating and conducting various types of clinical education, orientation and in-service programs for hospital staff, students and/or community groups. Develops and/or implements teaching plans according to identified learning needs and adult learning principles.
B.S. or B.A. degree in Education, related health field, or a national or international certification in area of expertise.
Certified to perform CPR by either American Heart Association or Medic First Aid, or must become certified within probationary period. Certified as an American Heart Association and/or Medic First Aid BLS instructor, or must become certified within probationary period if teaching CPR.
Excellent critical thinking, interpersonal and verbal communication skills.
