What is the status of my application?
Due to the volume of applications received, we are unable to personally contact every applicant. What internships are available?
Internships are usually held twice per year and offered in Women's Services, Med Surg, Critical Care, Oncology and Surgery. Internship positions are posted on our website when they are available. Back to top

What are the details regarding the RN intern/extern program (e.g., requirements, deadlines, program dates, expectations)?
Externs are senior nursing students who work throughout their last year of school. They are usually hired in the spring, and positions are posted on our website when they are available. Interns are new graduate RNs or nurses with experience that want to change specialties. Intern program dates vary, and positions are posted on our website when they are available. How can I delete an older version of my resume from my profile?

When can I expect to hear something regarding whether or not I am selected for an interview?
Interview selections are typically made within 2-3 weeks of resume selection. If you have not heard from a recruiter within 2-3 weeks, then you will need to log into your online profile and apply for another position. Back to top

I meet the requirements listed for the position. Why wasn't I called for an interview?

How do I become involved in your temp staffing pool?
Temp pool positions are not posted on our website and are only available for clerical positions. When temp opportunities become available, our recruiters will search for candidates from our general application pool. If you are interested in a temp position, please apply to a clerical position that is currently on our website, and you will be considered for a temp position if/when one becomes available. Would I be able to get a higher rate of pay if I do not need benefits?

Your candidate profile and application will remain on file indefinitely. However, applications are only tied to the specific position for which you applied. How do I submit a transfer request?

What is the salary and pay grade for the transfer position to which I am applying?
The pay grade and minimum salary for each position can be obtained by contacting Human Resources at 404-851-8745. Any additional salary negotiations will take place once the position is offered. Back to top

Do I need to re-submit an application if I want to transfer?
No, current employees do not need to re-submit an application for transfers. Simply complete the transfer request for the position in which you are interested, attach a current resume and send the packet to Human Resources. Back to top

What is the status of my transfer request?
Once the transfer request is received by Human Resources, it will be screened for eligibility. If you are qualified for the position, your request will be sent to the department manager for review. If you are selected for further consideration, you will be contacted to arrange an interview. If you are not qualified or the position is filled by another candidate, you will be notified by email. What happens when I decide to leave Northside?
When you decide to leave Northside, you are required to complete the appropriate paperwork and submit it to Human Resources for processing. After processing, the packet is sent out at the end of the next pay period. Back to top

I need verbal or written verification of employment. With whom do I speak and how long does the process take?
Requests for employment verification can be requested by contacting Human Resources at 404-851-8745. All employment verification requests are processed within 48 hours. Back to top

What is the process for viewing my personal file? Do I need an appointment?
Active employees may review their personal files between the hours of 8:00am and 3:00pm. Although appointments are not required, we can better serve you if you call ahead to schedule a specific time. Terminated employees are not permitted to review their files. Back to top

I am going out on/coming back from a leave of absence. What is the process I must complete?

How can I obtain a copy of my pay stub and/or W2?
